How do I get the B&N Nook app back on my Hook HD now that I am running 10.1.3 RC by Cyanogen?

Kindle app works fine. :)

My biggest gripe is that the National Geographic app doesn't work. It will download magazines but crashes when I try to open them.

I hate it when app devs make their apps so finicky like that. Nook app can't install on a Nook tablet, geez B&N.

Huh? Why on earth would B&N support CM10 on thier hardware??

And the Nook app runs fine on the Nook, but if you're running CM10 you just have to sideload it.

You can also mess with build.prop file and get it from play store. Just remember to revert back once you are done.

I get why it doesn't work. I was looking for the solution, not some lip service.
Geeze dude. Did anyone ever teach you manners?

I wasn't even talking to you, on top of answering your question.

Here is the deal.

Go to 1mobile.com, download the app.

download nook.

You will have to scroll to your downloads (in the upper left of the screen, put a finger on them and scroll down; they will open up).

profit.

Not everyone knows all this stuff.

When they ask a question there is no need to be hostile.

This is all for my 10 year old...

Any particular reason you couldn't just have thanked him for his help and moved on?

See alky just wants the light to turn on when he flips the switch. He's not interested in how the magic witch orb above his head derives its source of illumination. Such knowledge is only applicable to those who plan on doing something outside of a gym.

I have read probably over 2000 books. I think I know what goes on outside the gym.

Your banter has no place here.

Hi,

I saw someone say that you need to "sideload" the Nook app from another website.

I was able to download it but what is the next step? Thanks for any help.

I saw something about deleting another file first or something?

Thank you,

Ken
