And fate shovels shat in my face.

Why in the name of god would you uninstall Virusscan NT? Why in the name of god would you uninstall hotfixes? Why in the name of god would you wait 3 weeks before telling your superior that all the damn machines have that LSASS worm (Which I can't freaking remember the name of anymore - the one that starts the shutdown countdown)? More importantly, why in the name of god would you pretend you had nothing to do with it?

And then, why would you magically misplace disk 6 of 10 in the image set? Not all of them. Not the first one. DISK FREAKING SIX. I'm FAR too busy a person to reimage a 10-system lab, much less rebuild an image from scratch and reimage a 10-system lab. (Fortunately, the other 20 systems in this lab were freshly done - just transitioned from Win95/98 to 2k, and aren't damaged.)

Lesson: Underclassmen == retarded.

I have a 26-system teardown to do tommorrow, and a 30-system deploy, followed by a Win2k transition and redeployment on those 26 systems. It'll be quite some time before I can get to this mess - and then it's time to start revoking rights of assclowns that mess with me.
