Well my computer is pretty much jacked up as much as it can get and still boot up, so i want to format it (well i actaually already did) i saved my "wpa.dbl" file on a zip disk. How do i properly install this file so I cont have to reactivate? I tried to go into safe mode and replace the file thats there but upon reboot it asked me to activate again. Does anyone know how to do this? Everything i find on the web says just replace the file thast there but it doesnt seem to be working for me. Thankx in advance.

Just reactivate, it's a couple of mouse clicks. You've probably spent more time trying to avoid it then just doing it...

[rant] I can't stand MS activation!!!!

Yesterday I took out 1 of the 2 512MB ram sticks in my main rig, and when I rebooted, XP gave me a window that said something to the effect that my hardware had changed signifigantly enough that I would have to reactivate....

And in my case, I had to spend 10 min on the phone with MS assuring them I wasn't some sort of degenerate software pirate. :| [/rant]

Ahhhh. I feel better now :)
