Just installed it and it was suprisingly easy. Just don't know what i am gonna do with it yet. The GUI is very easy to work with, and getting my cable internet (via a Linksys router) to work was a snap.

Question: Do I need to install any special drivers (4-1, AGP, etc.) to run Linux correctly? Additionally I have a GeForce 2 video card that seemed to install well. Are there any tricks I should know?

TIA

Nope.

Not unless you plan on doing some gaming.

Thanks for the advice. No, there aren't any games for Linux that I am interested in at the moment.

One other thing...

I have 4 computers on a router that are running WIN98. I have Linux on a spare HD that I am connecting to "my" computer for playing around with Linux at the moment. Is it easy to network Linux with WIN98? Can Linux access a network printer (HP952)? I'm not sure I have any use for file transfers, or needing the printer under Linux, but I am curious.

TIA

Yes to all, but it's probably a little over your head at this point. Just get used to using Linux and get comfortable with it.
Small steps grasshopper.;)
