noob to selling on ebay-dont want to use paypal

I've got some stuff that I really don't need and I want to get rid of some so I'm gonna ebay them. The thing is, I really don't want to have to deal with paypal and connecting my bank account with them so what are my options as a selller? I suppose I can do money orders but are those a good way of dealing with unknown(and potentially nonpaying) people? Say they send me a money order but for some reason, they decide to cancel it before I get it, is that possible and then I get screwed over in the end?

Actually, you send the item as soon as you get the Bidpay approval.

Big thumbs up for Bidpay, great service, and I've had quite a few people that have used them.

Yep use BidPay.com it's not as instant as Paypal is but it is safe and secure.

thanks for the tip. I have been only using paypal after getting burned on a MO. That was 3 weeks of hell over a $25 auction.

Make sure you state about 1 million times in your auction what forms of payment you accept and what forms you don't.

Maybe 2 million.
