OK,
Here's the deal, I bought the INTEL 1.6A with the P4B266 on one of the recent hot deals. I would like to to overclock this thing, but I know very little about overclocking. I mean I kow how to adjust the fsb speed and get a CPU to run at a higher clock speed , but that's about it. I don't know much about how to set the memory's speed , or how the memory speed works, in addition I don't know how to handle the PCI & AGP part when it comes to overclocking ( dividers etc etc) . If anyone can help me, please let me know, thanks!
PS-I know people are gonna say you should have gotten AMD blah blah blah...I don't want to start an AMD vs INTEL post here, the fact is I shopped around for both types of systems and I just happened to pick INTEL. So before you thread crap just keep in mind, I want to learn how to overclock, not hear criticisms about the hardware choices I have made. Thanks!
