I was messing with my mem settings in bios and i think it corrupted my HD...i was loosing data...data was getting corrupted.

i had to reformat...

now...my settings are


from 133->FSB 166....and memory is cas 2.5 (which is what the specs are)

am i in good shape?

1) yeah unstable o/cing can corrupt hdd data
2) its up to your setup and the quality of your parts to determine if you're in good shape or not; some setups can't overclock worth cr@p, while others just wont back down after 2.5ghz
