Noob question - Flushing OEM Bios?

Got a compaq MSI OEM mobo. Model# is MSI MS-7184 with ATI RS482 chipset.

The OEM bios sucks big time. I am wondering if there is a possiblity to flush it?

Thanks!

Yep, there is no bios update.

I was wondering if I can flush it with a MSI bios with more OC' capabilities.

thanks!

the bios is specifically designed to work with a specified motherboard. You cannot just pick and choose a bios.

Agreed, flushing bios for a different board could be risky😉

If the motherboard is the exact same as the stock MSI board it should work, but if it doesn't your motherboard is ruined.
I almost baught one of those compaq pulls, and never thought about the bios. I'm guessing almost every setting is hidden and it's not tuned for performance at all? I'd risk killing the board and flash it.
