The one difference that I'm aware of is that the Power Fan connector cannot be controlled through the BIOS or Fan Xpert (whereas the Chassis Fan and CPU Fan speeds can be controlled by the user).

It's right next to the connector for Chassis Fan 1, which makes it really handy for plugging in both of my video card cooler's fans. The lack of speed control doesn't matter in this case because I run the two [low speed] fans at 100% all the time anyway.

The power fan header is used for PSUs that have a connector to allow the motherboard to control the PSU fan. I could be wrong.

I don't have any of the ASUS Utilities installed :p.

- SpeedFan can read the same motherboard sensors that PC Probe does, and it will also display CPU and hard drive sensors.
- I use the BIOS to overclock, so I don't have AI Booster installed.
- As far as I can tell, EPU 6 Engine can't be run if you're doing BIOS overclocking.
- ASUS Update has an unfortunate reputation for causing bad BIOS flashes, so it's usually preferable to use EZFlash2 to update the BIOS

The rest of the apps, I haven't really found a use for. I don't that any of them hamper OCing. I haven't had any personal experience with AI Booster, or similar software overclocking utilities.
