Lately I have seen many types of RAM on rig configurations. SDRAM, RDRAM, DDR...then they are PC-100/133/200...the list goes on.
I feel completely lost. Which one is best? Is there a huge gap between those types? What gives?
Thanks for your answers.
PC 66/100/133/150 are all sdram module (considered slow nowadays)
PC1600/2100/2700 are DDR (double data rate) SDRAM, called DDR ram (is the mainstream of today's industry)
DDR provide more bandwidth than traditional SDRAM
so DDR ram is better
