Noob Networking Q

Hey guys. I'm practically a noob at hardwired networking. I've always used a wireless connection, so this is pretty new to me. Currently I have a pc in my living room, which is connected to a Comcast cable connection, with a Linksys WCG200 router. I have my main pc in my room, which uses a Linksys Wireless-G USB adapter.

Now, I have another old computer that I would like to set up, in my room, to use for R@H. My question is, can I hardwire the old computer to my pc in my room through ethernet, using my pc's wireless connection? I'd like to keep the old pc in my room, and I don't want to run ethernet cable all the way from my living room, to my room. This is prob a total noob question to most of you, but I figured I'd ask before I go buy networking cable. Thanks

yes u can. but it would require the computer in your room to be on if u want the old computer to be online too.
The easy route would be to do what Rebate Monger said.
