Hi everybody. I am having some trouble with Adobe on my laptop. It used to work fine a month ago. I am not sure why it is not working now. I am totally unable to play videos. I have tried a few times to reinstall Adobe and keep getting this error message:
A small box pops up labeled: GetPlus+@: error (except the @ symbol is actually a "registered" symbol. The "R" inside a circle
Then inside the error box it reads:
"Unable to load a GUI"

Please if anybody can offer some easy to use help in laymens terms bc I am a noob and not very computer savvy. Thanks so much for nay help!!!

With internet explorer closed go into Control Panel-Programs and Features and uninstall every version of Flash Player. Be sure to check under Macromedia Flash player, if there uninstall that too.
Then uninstall Adobe Download Manager.
Reboot the computer.
Go here:
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/
Choose your version and install Flash Player. Say yes to everything that comes up.
After Flash player installs, if Internet Explorer opens another window and nothing seems to be happening for awhile, wait. I mean like wait 5 minutes.
Then go to Internet Explorer-Tools-Programs and click on Manage Add-Ons.
On the lower left click the drop down arrow and choose Downloaded Controls. Click on DLM control and Shockwave Flash Object and get_atlcom class and Shockwave ActiveX Control. Make sure none are disabled.

See if that works.
