im new to this cooling and modding business so yeah, just wanting to ask a few questions.
my computer isnt exactly brand new .. only P43.2Ghz , 1gig ram, 160gig HD, and stuff lol

anywayy i was thinking of buying a a new heat sink for my VGA card. At the moment I've got a Radeon X600 Pro .. ahh its code is GV-RX60P128D [ive got no idea wat it is] and i was thinking of replacing the heatsink with Zalman VF700-Cu. I was just wondering if the Zalman heat sink was compatible with my VGA card.

if anyone can assist me with this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank youu
 
Welcome to AT illuz! 🙂 From that list it looks as though only the 2 ABIT cards and the Gecube are compatible. You don't know what brand card you have? You could look on the gpu hsf and see if there is a label.
 
d'awww .. i just found out my VGA card isnt compatible with the Zalman heatsink. booo!! It says on the Zalman website that its not compatible with the GIGABYTE Radeon X600 Pro. modding sucks =P lol

now that i cant buy that heatsink, do any of you guys know wat heatsink would be good and compatible with my VGA card?

yeh illuz welcome to anandtech, me a computer nerd and i woudl help u out but i need to get more info on ur specs, is ur 1 gig of ram sd or ddr also is ur graphics card intercombustable?
if it is u can only get a liquid nitrogen case with spiderman picture but u can peel of that sticker and put in the label found on ur gpu-hsf, if it is not intercombustable that woudl make it a netroalzon zsd-69 modle and not be able to run a quality cooling system, if it is netroalzon zsd-69 then i reccomend buying a new computer and giving me ur old one to MOD, i would b happy to sell u sum more ram and a good graphics card for cheapness. i will sell u an amd 64bit graphics card (intercombustable) so no need to upgrade or a while with a windows xp &28 mb Ram (ddr) all for a $3000
