noob fan question

alright I bought two fan filters for my two smart fan 2's, but I have no idea how to put them on, I have the fans in the fan bracket in my chieftec case but I'm not seeing a way to put them on the fan. They are the fan filters from svc http://www.svc.com/80mmfanfilter.html

May not be possible with the bracket design. The filters are made to be attached to the outside of the case, with the fan screws going through the filter into the fan, with the case metal between them. The brackets are designed to hold a fan of a specific thickness, so you can't make it clip onto both the fan and the filter. If you've got the space, you could screw the filter to the fan over the bracket clips.

I just had the same problem with NMB fans on my plusview 1000. For the side window fan I was able to get take the outer piece of the svc filter off and just use screws to screw in the grill and the filter elment into the fan. I then carefully fit the fan into the clip as it was slightly to large, but hey...it worked.
