Good morning all, I'm not much of a cell user, just a T-mobile prepay account. My question is : my old Nokia 6010 developed keypad issues so I got a used one in perfect shape on Ebay for $10. I charge it's battery and insert my sim card from old phone and it calls fine but none of my phone #'s got transferred. I can put the sim in old phone and manually copy them but I always thought all of of your personal info got stored on the sim as well, what's going on here?. Thanks in advance for any answers, I just never got that much into cell tech or how it works..

A lot of phones have a setting for where contacts are stored; either in internal memory or on the SIM card. I don't know about your specific phone, but you should be able to transfer all your contacts to the SIM card.

Also, shouldn't this be in gadgets gear and phones?
