My dad asked me to sell some IBM stock that a family member gave him back in the 80's. However, I can't find the original certificates. Am I screwed or is it still possible to sell them? Also, as I know nothing about stocks, how do I sell them? We get reports in the mail periodically and it has an option to mail something back for full withdrawal, but I haven't read it over. Thanks
