None of these mATX cases really impress me

None of them really grab me. I'm looking for a well built, slick looking, fully functional PC case with 1 external drive and USB/Audio/Firewire on the outside. Good cooling, good construction, and good fit-and-finish is absolutely necessary (although I won't be able to tell about the fit and finish until I actually recieve the case). I also don't want to hear fans running which is why I'm going with SFF.

There's nothing in particular I don't like, its just that usually when I'm shopping for something I look at a few of my choices and there's always one that really grabs me, you know? It's not happening here.

These are the two I was looking at. Can someone show me anything better? Maybe newegg isn't the place to be looking.

ASPIRE X-QPACK-BK/420 Black
nMEDIAPC HTPC 100BA

If you want HTPC style cases, then take a look at pcalchemy.com. My personal favorites are the Uneed X11 and the Silverstone LC11M.

I'm not looking for HTPC style specifically. Just a nice looking cube. I don't want it to look like a VCR or anything like those two.

Your looking for a case without Motherboard right?

Shuttle makes alot of SFF, but they come with the motherboard which is not standard.

Being small does not make Fans quiet. In fact the tighter the space the more air circulation you need. It would be nice if there was a really great small Pentium M motherboard.

I don't like barebones, I want control over the combo

Those are pretty nice actually, but $149 w/o a PSU is kind of steep. I'm better off going with an Aspire QPack

Those are the best 2 looking cases, but the price is slowing me down as well.
Also the last review I saw on them was that the case fans are a little loud. They are easily replace but thats even more money out of pocket.

But really I'm down to one of those cases or just a min or mid tower.

that thing is ugly. It might be ok if it didnt have that writing on the case.
It's like putting racing strips on a Lexus. Tacty looking to me.

Edit:
Ok a few of them look ok. I do like the fact that any Power system fits.
But still too flashy for me.
