None of my bosses are here, long weekend, productivity--

My boss is on vacation....I've busted my butt all week so that my day today would be easy.
I took a long break this morning to go to a fireworks store....and I've been taking care of little things as they come up. But mostly just catching up on my posting.....
I started another thread for those of you that didn't see it...I'm preparing for the 4th of July. I've got a neighbor to tick off. Here is a link to the firepower I've amassed up to last night. And I'm going shopping this weekend......a few hundred more dollars will wrap up my insanity.

my boss is out for 2 weeks, today is my 2yr anniversary with the company and we're all going out afterwards to bid goodbye to 2 people leaving the company. If not for that, i would never of showed up today. I won't be showing up on monday though 🙂

Awesome...we're going this weekend for ours. Not really "legal" where I live but not really enforced either. My whole neighborhood lights it up on the 4th. 🙂

This is the first year they are legal where I live..and the guy down the street that has complained about them for the last two years (LOL!!) at like 10pm is going to get it this year. With daylight savings...It doesn't get dark until almost 10pm.....fireworks till midnight!!!!

Same scenario for me... I just got home... I'm about to play Oblivion for the next 6 hours...
 
boring. no one's here around the office, so i've done basically nothing so far. my supervisor isn't here either, and I get a 4 day weekend. power was off in my house this morning, so I thought i would take a 5 day weekend, but my parents got the car out for me 🙁
 
my hours are already in and set... I can literally leave and still get paid, so we'll see when and if that happens 🙂
 
Motivation is low today, 4 day weekend coming up as I took Monday off.. just gotta deal with production issues :\
 
my boss has been on vacation since tuesday afternoon...
...today is soccer, 2 hour long lunch break and leaving the office early
 
my boss is leaving at 3, (i leave at 430)and taking off monday and tuesday. I am not doing any of the work supposed to be done this week until wednesday morning
 
boss left @noon. basically no upper mgt is here right now so its party time in the data center!!

Yeah..I WISH I had that! I'm definately here til 3 at least! Damn you guys for being at home or leaving already!

Now, granted, I'm not doing much work right now...but I STILL have to be here. Its an unbelievably nice day outside too. That never helps. I'm just hoping the rain around DC stays away for the weekend.

So while I'm doing nothing..I DID come across this...well..he's a weirdo honestly. He talking about some rig he made to talk to the aliens or whatnot. It reminds me of someone in my tech department that really doesn't get out much. I have no idea if this guy is doing it as a joke or not...so I think its amusing.

I just bought that game 8 days ago and I've got 30 or so hours in already (long weekend with nothing to do last week).

I've finished the mage's guild quests, nearing the end (I think) of the fighter's guild quests.

I guess I'll do the arena and then the dark path ones next, after I tie up some random loose ends that show up.

Fantastic game. Didn't think it would work well on my computer but it's playing fine (AMD64 2800, 1 gig ram, 9800XT).

3 more hours of neffing and I'm out of here (it's not like I'm not doing my work - my supervisors out of town and I have no work to do).
