nondeletable folders??

I wonder if you could help me.

They are my computers.

I am the only User.

Every now and then, there are folders that I cannot delete, not for love nor for money.

I tried to change the folders' Permission, but still it doesn't allow me to delete them.

I used a third-party software to get administrator privileges, but still I cannot delete some of them.

I tried Portable Eraser, but it was not able to delete some of them.

Any suggestion??

I thank you all in advance.

Yes and no. There are folders that cannot and should not be deleted. Some are temp folders that may be empty for the moment, some hold system files that cannot be seen in normal view mode. Some are linked to from other files and therefore cannot be deleted. Best to just leave them alone. They are not hurting anything.

Thanks for your answer.

You're right.

My question was wrong. For example, sometimes I Uninstall programs, but even after those progs have been uninstalled there still remain folders that I cannot delete, for the reasons I described above. Is there anything I could do about it??

Again, thank you for your help

Most stubborn folders can be deleted from a command prompt run as Administrator, if you're comfortable doing that.

Revo uninstaller can uninstall the program, delete the program's extra files, and delete the registry entries pointing to it.

For this to work, you would want to re-install the program, then use Revo to uninstall it.
