nonconductive shim overlaps bridges...bad??

Hey guys, I just bought a cpu and non-conductive shim (kinda like cardboard). But the shim has only 1 additional precut hole for the bridges...and the xp1600 has bridges on all 4 sides. Can this ruin the cpu, or crush the bridges?

thanks for the reply yucky.

next time, though, try not to drown me with all that complex computer lingo, it's too dam confusin!!
