does anyone know of anything slick to use for a NON-VESA LED monitor; mount adapter?

stupid ASUS has nice 1ms monitors, but dropped the VESA mounts

I want to ceiling mount this puppy, but no attach point
 
Sorry, but there does not seem to be any such monitor in Asus or related sites. There are specifications for the VESA mounting system, Is it possible to attach such a mounting plate to the monitor's rear?

There are such things as non-VESA adapters. This site provides the standards. There are also ways to secure a mounting plate using bonding agents such as JB Weld.
