I wish I was shocked at how people on here are defending unions or pretending that they would never do such a thing...

We could fill the forum with stories of union thugs beating up people.

http://www.columbiatribune.com/news/2011/apr/25/um-union-violence-lectures-grab-attention/
Check out this awesomeness from Judy Ancel, director of University of Missouri-Kansas City’s Institute for Labor Studies
“Violence is a tactic, and it’s to be used when it’s the appropriate tactic.”

Or Don Giljum of Operating Engineers 148 who talks about workers stalking a company CEO at shopping centers and church until the executive became so paranoid he began wearing protective gear to work because he was afraid of being shot.

Guy's it's OK. This is just like when a Christian or a Muslim does something bad, and Christians and Muslims say "he wasn't really one of us".

Nope, find me the story.

I made the claim and backed it up.

I am sure you are capable of doing the same thing.

Unions are the "black males" in crimes regarding business and the economy.

There is unemployment - it's the unions.

Companies shipped jobs overseas - it's the unions.

Processed foods cause cancer - it's the unions.

Nintendo dropped it's price on the 3DS to $180 - it's the unions.

You all know these decisions are made by a corporate CEO, commit or business owner(s), how and why are you allowing these decision makers to deflect the heat of THEIR actions onto "the unions"?

I made the claim and backed it up. with a Breitbart linked story

I am sure you are capable of doing the same thing.

From your link:
The videos are clearly edited — something Breitbart is known for. His news aggregate website is the one that put out an edited video showing Shirley Sherrod, an official at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, claiming she discriminated against a white farmer. The video later was shown to have been edited out of context, and Sherrod has filed a lawsuit against him.

Like I'd beleive anything from not so Breitbart's site.

When I was a kid, America was prosperous, American corporations paid half of the taxes, not many people got really rich because income taxes in the upper brackets were so high, and as a result, the middle class had a far greater percentage of the wealth than today. All that strong American growth in the first half of the 20th century only really started after Hoover and his capitalist ilk got thrown out of office for caused the Great Depression. After all, what good does it do capitalist to be able to produce goods at rock bottom prices, if the working class is driven into such poverty that they can't afford to buy anything.

Remember when America started slipping out of that prosperity also occurred when America allowed its unions to be busted.

I was in Monroe, Michigan and was cornered by 10 or so electrical union dudes. I work networks and they were bitching about every minority and how we always leave and the 'shit' doesn't work. It was getting bad when a supervisor ordered them away. They went back into a room and slammed the door.

Pretty much all day those same dudes just sat their bitching about everyone else not working and doing a bad job.

IMHO the unions are America's biggest problems.

How do we know a union person did this? Looks a little too obvious.

We do know Scott Walker had plans to plant troublemakers among union people

Is that the same America that had strong family values where they instilled courtesy, respect and self responsibility for one's actions? Guess the union busting fucked all of that up too...

Now we have god knows how many people who would rather sit on their fat ass at home and draw welfare because that is an easier life than actually going out and getting a job. Also a result of union busting, amiright???

Impossible.

I gag when someone trys to get me to swallow shit. People like you ask for more, and use words like "please" and "thank you".

Nah, you eat it right up. You just cheerlead for one side and don't think you are eating shit. They have you fooled.

Funny how your story has changed, first it was in a restaurant and you were taunting them, then it was a bus load of Union workers and now it was at a job. I think your floppy knee has migrated to your brain.

The videos are edited, but the statements were made and are on video.

What we don't know is what else was said, but if you want I can find dozens of other stories...

http://lrionline.com/union-on-union-violence-shuts-down-port-terminal
“We’re fine with the legal, peaceful protests. But when things cross the line and we start getting reports of vehicles being stopped, threats being made… we’re going to respond to those,” Cowlitz County Sheriff Mark Nelson said. 90 ILWU protesters were arrested July 11 for allegedly tearing down a fence and blocking EGT workers from loading grain.

It was so bad in one case that the Teamsters were forced to sign a 4 page declaring what they would NOT do.

"WE WILL NOT brandish or carry any weapon of any kind, including, but not limited to, guns, knives, slingshots, rocks, ball bearings, liquid-filled balloons or other projectiles, sledge hammers, bricks, sticks, or two by fours at or near any picket line, handbilling effort, rally or in any vehicle engaged in ambulatory picketing of any Overnite vehicle or following the private vehicle of any Overnite employee."

Or how about SEIU bussing in members to protest a meeting... you can't hold a fucking meeting without these people busting through the doors???

Here is a video of an SEIU members attacking a camera man at a hospital cafeteria.
