Non SMS instant messenger AOL etc for ATT Tilt?

I searched for those terms and couldn't find anything useful. So can anybody point me in the right direction?

I really hate the idea of paying for txt messages just so I can use IM when already paying for a data package.

Thats a very old build of AIM for ppc. The only other one I can think of is im+, which is about $40.

If you can get JiveTalk to work, I'd recommend it. I couldn't get it to work on my Tilt, but it is the de-facto IM client for the Blackberry as far as I'm concerned.

Also forgot about Fring, which is (still currently) free. Its in beta, but I dont know if they want to charge for it. I didnt like it because it was constantly running and using a data connection, and it killed my battery life.
