Can we use a non SLI video card on the A8n-Sli Deluxe,
I am trying to use a 6600 - plain no GT version here.

I have 2x512 RAM, DDR 400 and I have blue screens on boot with WinXP

TIA
Vinny

Why woudln't you be able to? Duh...

That said reseat all yoru cards (remove them from teh slots, and replace them) including your memory. Try just one stick of memory, then try th eother. you probably have a bad part somewhere in the chain, or your copy of WIndows was just pooched. Check the hardware first, then see if you can repair windows. none of that works you have a bad part somewhere. in my experience it's usally the vid card or memory when it happens on winXP boot.

What makes you think the video card is the problem? What kind of hard drive do you have?

I'm guessing memory or bum XP install 🙂 what's your prediction 🙂
