There is only one listing for a non-SLI ultra board on newegg (chaintech - not a big fan) and otherwise I don't see any non-SLI ultras kicking around. What is the hold up here or am I not checking the right hardware resellers? With the prices of the SLI boards being so high it's just not worth it for me since I don't see myself using 2 GPUs any time soon. Thanks!

the only solace i find in the nforce4 mobo's coming out later rather than sooner is that MAYBE the price on the rest of the computer parts MAY go down.
sad.

I have been waiting for the Asus A8N-E premium, there was a thread about it here around October, with expected availability in late december, but I haven't found any new information about it since then. Does anyone have any info on this or other nforce4 ultra boards?

The Gigabyte GA-K8NF-9 & GA-K8NXP-9 nForce4 boards are available, well at least in the UK.

like the 6600GT's XFX beat everyone by a month or so. I'd say there will be a couple more to choose from by the end of the month.

The GA-K8NF-9 is not an NF4 Ultra board but rather plain NF4 ("Vanilla").

Paper launches mean as much as ifs and buts. Let me know when they Silicon launch.

I have a Chaintech VNF4 Ultra (another non-sli Nforce4 board). It is actually an NF-4 Ultra. I have been running it fine since I got it about 8 days ago, and it is great! Runs very cool (my processor temp is 21 degrees C at 200 MHZ overclock). The only downside to this board is that the BIOS seems to be limiting to overclockers. Otherwise tho, a great board, and at $130.00 for an NF4 Ultra, a great buy!
