Well, I have a friend who dumped his computer off at my house, and he said that his video, integrated or Radeon 7000 PCI did not show anything after the XP splash screen.
I've reseated card, and booting into safe mode doesnt work.
I talked to someone and they said XP could be corrupt, and I might have to re-install
Anybody have any ideas?

Comp Specs
Emachines T2245
2.2ghz
768mb RAM PC2100
120/40 GB HD (Master Slave)

Any help would be appreciated

If the card shows stuff on the monitor up to the Win splash screen, it is most probable that it is a Windows or driver problem. Since it happens with 2 different vid cards, I would assume it a Windows problem.

Do a Win XP Repair Installation. Remember not the "Recovery Console" but a Repair Installation. Boot from a XP cd and continue with the installation up to the point where it asks you where you want to install XP. Choose the same hdd and partition where the original XP was installed (usually C: dive). When the installation senses there is already an existing XP it will ask you if you want to repair or install a fresh copy of Win XP, choose repair. You will not lose any programs or data but you will lose your Win XP updates (which you can download later). You will also be required to re-activate XP. If you want to avoid this, you can back up your wpa.dbl (??)file and restore it later to keep the activation. Google about keeping the activation to get the step by step instructions on how to do it, if you do not want to activate again.
