Someone with 0 feedback won my auction and hasn't paid yet, after over half a week. Nor has he replied to any of my several emails. I've sent him an invoice twice.

I looked up the buyer on white pages and got his number.

Should I call him to verify that he no longer wants the item?

Only if you're sure he doesn't have caller ID.

I don't know, should you? What other possible things could you do? Repost the auction? Send him another email? YOU make that decision.

It's the greatest thing ever. Buddy of mine owns an auto shop...got a bounced check back from his bank for like $280. As I was sitting there he called the woman up, said "Hey this is XXXX XXXXX calling", and I heard the click of her hanging up. He called back, no answer, no machine. So he called from his cellphone, she picked up, until he said his name again, and she hung up. He had his mechanic call from his phone, she picked right up, then hung up again.

So he did *70 and called back from the store phone, she of course picked up until she found out who it was. So now he's filed a police report for fraud, as it's extremely obvious she knew the check would bounce and refuses to pay what she owes him.
