I think we're effed here. They're pushing the penny sales tax increase, again, for the schools. Think of the children....eff that. How about we think about the admins making $150K/yr....in podunk S.C. How about we think about the $11K that comes in per kid and the $6K that makes it to the local schools.

How about Portuguese? Family history has it that there's a Portuguese tinker (person of low character) in the wood pile. That's supposed to explain some of the fam's darker complexion. I think some great great grand pappy was poking one of the chattel.

I did not... no real contested elections in my state and no ballot initiatives that I care about.

besides which, I'm house sitting for my parents this week so voting would require leaving work early, driving to my own town, standing in line, voting, and then driving back to my parents town to walk the dog (as opposed to my current plan of work -> parents house -> dog walk -> dinner -> bed)
