Focus on the Family founder James Dobson makes spectacle of non-partisan event.
California Representative Hahn walks out after Dobson ruins the spirit of the event.
Why do some people have to ruin everything? Focus on the Family is such a shitty organization and they need to have their tax exempt status revoked.
Dobson leads off by saying the National Day of Prayer is not about politics. Referring to the fact that this is the 20th year of this particular observance, he says he "has never made any kind of political statement and [he] won't do it today."
Then he proceeds to make a political statement. After couching his remarks in the cloak of "morality," he goes on to say "President Obama, before he was elected, made it very clear that he wanted to be the abortion president." He continued with his exaggeration, saying "in a real sense, he is the abortion president."
After rambling on about a $1 surtax for the support of abortion, without missing an opportunity to also opine about how taxes always skyrocket, he claimed this "tax" would go to Planned Parenthood.
