non NHL hockey games

Not that I know of, except that the NHL series will allow you to play International teams and International rules.
 
For NHL2001 there was an official EA add-on that modified the game to either Finnish SM-league or Swedish Elitserien. Apart from un-official mods that is the only one I know of.
 
FOX made NHL Championship 2000, some people liked it, I did not.

It's probably bargain bin software by now, might be worth a try for $10 or so.
