non-mechanical Keyboard search

So im looking for a new keyboard that is quiet, decent for games and preferable has a palm rest. I want to avoid large gaudy looking gaming keyboards and mechanical due to the noise. I was looking at the logitech illuminated keyboard but complaints about key blocking especially w+shift+space have me worried since im not sure if logitech has changed that or not.

suggestions?

The only non-mechanical keyboard with no key blocking is Microsoft Sidewinder X4. It is a gaming keyboard but not gaudy IMO. Certainly most non-mechanical boards look messier.

Actually, my brown switches are no louder than using a bubble keyboard, because I rarely bottom out with them, and the switches them selves make at best some noise when the key is released.

In that way the brown switches are somewhat different from the reds and blacks, where bottoming out is probably more frequent, and the blues which always click loudly.
Otherwise there are some keyboards that are built like laptop keyboards. Those should be even less noisy, but at the cost of some feel.

Same here on recommending trying the Cherry MX Brown switches. Yes, if you bottom them out, they will be loud, but there is no need to bottom them out. But if you do find yourself always bottoming them out, you can spend a couple bucks on some rubber O-rings and place them on the keycap posts.
