Just got home from Costco. There was a kid handing out sample cups of some bottled "spring" water. Somebody asked him if it was diet water. After looking at the label, finding no mention of "diet", he concluded it was non-diet water. Hee, hee. Must have gone to public school.....

The worker was just doing his job, and had to look like he was
seriously trying to answer the question.

Whoever asked if it was diet water was the idiot... must have not gone to any school

I'm far more worried about the person who asked if it was diet water than the kid.

I think the guy who asked the question was just testing the kid. The kid flunked....maybe he can get a job at the Post Office.

Yup, the kid might not be the brightest bulb in the chandelier, but he should have no trouble getting that Post Office job Bluefront failed the test for.

Are you sure it wasn't the other way around? If I was selling water, and someone asked me if it was diet, I might do something similar to screw with their head.

PS Ouch Moonie, ouch :p

Bluefront, you may be able to read, but you must not comprehend or put much together much of what your read even when you write it.

Yup, the kid might not be the brightest bulb in the chandelier, but he should have no trouble getting that Post Office job Bluefront failed the test for.

I guess being able to read wasn't why you failed.

Just in case this is tough for you, I'll spell it out. You could not have failed the PO test because you can read because you clearly stated that he got the job instead of you because you can read, and this despite the fact that earlier you explained that he can read.

Moonie....what are you smoking tonight? Where did you come up with the idea I ever applied for a Post Office job? Are you serious?

Everyone knows the dumb kid in my original post could easily find a high-level position at the Post Office.....even Mr. Mooneshine could. Whatever.

If I was the kid handing out samples, and if someone asked me if it was "diet", I'd've answered "yes" with a straight face, just for the hell of it.

Everyone knows that your lack of connection with and ignorance of the Post Office is something you proved long ago. :D

Did Rosswife get fed up with you being on ATOT all day and pull the plug so youd help out around the house? ;) Did you see day six of your trip to Costco? I posted it in the thread.

Nope, we had to untangle the mess of wires/cords linking our network of 8 computers together so the internet had to go down and will remain down for another 1-5 days.

Haven't seen day 6 yet, will look at it later.
