Non burnproof Plextor solution???

Got me a Plex 8/4/32a and so far the info I got was that it is not burnproof capable.

If true, any way to update the thing other than to replace it to make it able to burn proof like firmware update?

The best way to burn w/this thing (software/hardware combo) to minimize coasters with this burner.

sorry man, if you want burnproof you'll have to get a new drive.
btw that drive is very good. enable DMA for the drive & try having your cd/dvd drive on a different ide channel to the burner if you want to copy on the fly!
