non bulky Virus Scans?

just reformatted my comp, ahh gotta love the blazing speed, was thinking, yes thinking of installing a virus scan on it, but i want the least bulky and effective one, which one do you guys use?

Norton ? the mcafee thing?

also .mov files, and .rm files any way to watch those without quicktime, and realplayer ?

Norton is bloated crap IMO.
I use AVG

Catches everything I throw at it without making a huge federal case like Norton does when it sees a virus. Fast, transparent scans, frequent updates, and very small profile.

No way I know of to watch Quicktime without installing the player. There's nothing wrong with the player though. It's fairly small and innocuous.

And there's a hacked version of WMP out there that plays RealMedia without having to install Real's crapware. Do a search either in this forum or the Software forum. I posted it but dunno where it went.
