This day and age, yes, it's that rare. I would venture to say most north american drivers don't know how to drive a stick.

Well I feel extra super cool then! :D

You should, if being subject to all sorts of stick jokes make you feel cool :D

If someone offered me a Viper convertible I wouldn't say no. However I'd choose the hardtop if possible.

I think of the Honda S2000 as a chick car.

really? I've never seen a girl driving an S2000

ive never met a girl that could drive a standard

It's rare now-a-days to see anyone under 25 that knows how to drive a stick.
I drive a charger srt8 and it doesn't even come in stick :(

yeah, I've actually met plenty of American girls that can drive a standard. Of course, any European, well, simply: non-American girl can drive standard. Maybe Anubis needs to get out more? :p

I'm more impressed PT Cruiser hasn't been mentioned.

There's a teacher at my h.s. who drove one of those, and with the front fender hanging on by a thread. Oh, and it was a soft top convertible.

i had a 70 mercury cougar convertible with a 351M in it. id say that was by far not a chick car. i also had a 61 scout topless, that wasnt a chick truck either.

chick cars i think are still the miata, mustang II, sunfire/ sunbird, vw beetle, S-10 pick ups and neons. oh, and the scion, pt cruiser and that crappy station wagon "suv" chevy made...

Eh? Jeep Wrangler? I think maybe 2% of the Wranglers I've seen were driven by women.

Saturn Ion - it screams college chick before you even see her college parking sticker on the bumper.

Realizing some these are trolls posting, I'll have to say some these posts made me roll my eyes.

All convertibles?

Like a 440 Cuda convertible would be a chick car?

VW Beetle, VW Jetta are the most obvious.
The Subaru Forester is a "chick car," in the sense that a special kind of chick drives these usually.
