Nominal Operating temperature for Athlon XP 1800+?

So i've come back to overclocking in lieu of Half Life 2 because I will be getting the Black Friday Compusa Geforce 6800 for $200 tomorrow.

The question is that there seems to be multiple core versions of the 1800+, palomino, throughbred, and another one I think. The one I have was won during the AMD 'Extreme Performance Project' giveaway.

I've got mine to 150FSB @ 1.85v (1.75v default), the multipliers seem to be locked.

The motherboard I have is an Epox 8K5A2+ KT333.

The CPU temperature in the BIOS seems to be hovering at around 53C.

I'm more of a quiet/silent pc guy than an overclocker. I have an 1800+ Palomino on a Shuttle AK35GT2 with a Thermalright SLK-947U and a Panaflo 80mm L1A. It's undervolted (but stock 133FSB) to 1.675V (1.75V default)

It hovers around 40C ambient in winter (ambient temp of about 15-18C?) and goes up to high 40s underload. I plan on upgrading to an Athlon64 over winter.

BTW, for fun I've tried overclocking. Maybe it's my board but I can't even raise up the FSB to 140 without any problems (I did up the voltage to 1.8V). I knew it wasn't much of an OCer to begin with so it wasn't a big deal.
