Anyone know if anybody has made a firmware update for the Zen Xtra that allows you to just plug it into a computer and transfer files? Right now I have to install this software that comes with it, and that's fine for my home computer. The problem is the lab computers at school won't let me install the software so i can't use the Zen as an external HDD like I wanted to.
Anway, I love the player itself and would still have bought it even if I knew I wasn't able to do this, but it would be a VERY handy feature. I figured I would be able to just plug it in and windows would recognize it as an external HDD until I installed software specifying otherwise.
