Nomad MuVO2 still have the micro drive in it?

I remember people were buting these so they can take out the 4gb microdrive cuz it was cheaper than buying a microdrive outright (less than half the cost!). Does anyone know if the newer models still use a microdrive? I heard they do but that you cannot use it in other devices. Is this true? I would like to use one for my digital camera but dont want to spend 400 bucks or more if i can get a muvo for under 200 bucks.
 
You can't use the microdrive in the Muvo2 version 2 in a digital camera. I don't believe anyone has gotten it to work yet.
 
It works, but there's a chance you'll get a crippled one, last time I checked.

It seems like it's a hit or miss with the MuVo2 drives.

Plus, it's rather complciated procedure to remove and reformat it and such.
