Nomad II under WinME

The Nomad II manager software installed fine on WinME computer, but whenever I open the software, it shuts off with message "error occur in *.dll" file. I tried the one came with nomad II, also the one downloaded from CL website. anyone else have the same problem?

i think the one of the file names is "msvcrt.dll", and another one is mfc42.dll, and another one is something like id3v.dll or something like that

not like i need the nomad manager to upload music because Windows Media Player 7.0 does that too now, but I need the manager to set the time and radio station of nomad..

have u tried re-installing the software? installed all patches? worth a shot.

Files msvcrt.dll and mfc42dll, sounds like they are part of Visual Studio. Try installing visual studio, it might help. However, those files should be already present with Windows, so I don't know why you are missing them.

WMP7 (I know, the horror) is *s'posed* to work directly with Nomad ][. I think I had it working for a moment, but haven't played with it in ME for a while. Win2K is just so darned nice (and the CL software works there ).

yeah, i ran a search for those two files, and i have them on my computer already. several copies in fact. one copy in my visual cafe folder, one copy in the game Rune folder, one in Windows/system folder, one is CL PlayCenter2 folder, and one in my WinDVD folder. Is that right?
