Personally I love this mp3 player I have it and got it from Emusic.com for $50 way back when they had a promotion. I think this is an awesome deal consider even Amazon is selling for $237(64mb thou) you can get another 32mb flash card for less than $50.

The one from Onvia is the 32 mb version, the one from Staples is 64 mb version. No way they would PM <unless you get a very blind CSR.

So that would mean that everyone is still using their emusic Nomad's with 32 Mb? That sucks, it a real cool device, but I can't stand only having like 30 minutes of music!

I guess I am going to have to get something else, like maybe one of the MP3 CD players.

I got in on the Emusic deal a while back and love my Nomad II. The WMA firmware is great and even at 64kbs the WMA files sound as good as MP3s at say 96kbs. Using 64kbs WMAs I can cram 16 songs onto the 32Mb SmartMedia. (I wouldn't suggest using WMP7 to do transcoding, it's slow; use Streambox Ripper).

Fry's Electronics (B&amp;M) runs deals on SmartMedia and CompactFlash every other week or so. I picked up another 32Mb SM from there a few weeks ago for $48. And just recently got a 48Mb CF Sandisk card for $52. They had 64Mb SM cards for ~$85 also.
