Nomad 2 question, Please help

I'm trying to use a Nomad 2 as a USB smartmedia reader for my digital camera (it only has a serial output). The problem is the camera (olympus c2020) stores picture files in a subdirectory which the Nomad file manager cant access (think it only sees the root). Is there a way I can get around this? Please help...
