NOLF Update #2 is SUCK!!!

I applied the patch and the first time I tried to play it crashed the moment the level loaded. I had to reboot. After a couple more reboots, I finally was able to get into the game (before, the colors, text, menus, etc. were screwed up) but it crashed to the desktop about two minutes in. Since it's a sneaking mission, that sucked too.

Every time it crashes, I have to reboot which is tedious. Anyone else having this problem and is it possible to downgrade to the 1001 patch?

It ran fine before the patch, so it's not the OC.

Update works fine for me so far but I applied it after installing the game fresh for the very first time. I'm about to go into the training area -- read that as I'm not very far. spent about 20 minutes fiddling with settings trying to get decent 32-bit color performance...no dice...16-bit flies though as usual for my GF 2.

Yep...I think update #1 is suck too.

I think I'm going to reinstall the whole game.

Anybody have a good site where I can download different skins and what not?

This game crashes repeatedly for me also, I want to play it so bad. But after a few reboots I put it away for a few days.
