Nokia 900 to Win Phone 8

I have heard that all second gen hardware (which includes the Lumia 900) will be compatible, but there is no way to know for sure.
 
There were some rumors a few weeks ago that said ALL WP7 devices would be upgradable to WP8, but nobody seems to know for sure.

That said, I'd be shocked if the 900 didn't get the upgrade.

All of the rumors indicate that the 2nd gen phones running "Mango" won't get all of the new features of Win8 due to hardware limitations. So I am willing to bet first gen phones will not be able to run Win8 well if at all.

If you are planning on a Win8 phone, then plan on getting a new phone that launches with Win8.
 
thanks for the replies, heard the same thing about 2nd gen, have a 3gs right now, so it is about time to upgrade, going Windows, just trying to decide to get the 900 or wait like 6 months and see what 8 devices are out there.
