and from what i know, the 7190 is basically the same as the 7160 except the 7160 is TDMA and no autoslide, whereas the 7190 has autoslide and is GSM

i have everything, and i know how to do it. but since it involves soldering a capacitor off the board, i wanted to know if anyone's actually done it and give me some tips.

ahhhh.... now it's a little clearer
well, hmmm..... i don't know anyone who's done that before, nor did i know that it required removing a capacitor from the board. but i would advise using some solder wick to get the solder out of there, but if you can get at it, just try cutting it off or maybe even just yanking it.
perhaps you could post a picture of said area on the board![]()
