nokia 6800 or 6820?

Well I can get the 6800 for free or the 6820 for $75. I think I like the look of the 6800 a little better (colors), but that doesn't really matter. The 6820 can do anything the 6800 can do plus has bluetooth, can do AIM, has a digital camera, and a good handful of other features. A lot of them I won't be using now like bluetooth or AIM, and I'm just not sure if I will in the future... I would really like to use a bluetooth headset... but the 6820 doesn't come with one, does it? Isn't it like $100?

Yeah, its just tough justifying getting it when the extra features seem they may be something that I may never use. Data transfer for AIM should be cheaper...

Any idea how many messages would add up to 1MB?

i just got myself the 6800 for free about a month ago for the same reasons. it's free, and it looks better.

the 6820 has a boatload of additional features compared to the 6800, such as digital camera, bluetooth, etc, and it's significantly smaller too. but to me those things are less important than the price and the looks, so chose the 6800

i just want to add:

since you said you're not going to be using those extra features now, then it's probably better to just get the free one, and who knows in six months they will come up with another model that fits your need even better. or at least by that time you can have the 6820 for a lot less money.

i'd consider samsung's and sony's. the T610 has IR, bluetooth, small, and it constantly has a $150 rebate (on t-mob at least)

but yeah if between those 2? i'd take the one that costs less. in a few weeks they'll be all at the same prices anyway

i have to work with these phones all day and imho, the 6820 is the way to go. the 6800 is very clunky and feels like it was meant to be used by an ogre.

6820. My friend has one, cool phone. The little camcorder feature is neat, too.

It can take video, not just pics? That might make it worth it!

Does anyone know anything about the included headset? It's not bluetooth, is it?

I'm thinking of stopping by the store to see them in person, I can't judge their difference in size on the internet.

BTW, if anyone's interested, I'm getting a discount through my work, and I'm looking into how I can hook others up with it, and when I can I'd have no problem hooking you guys up. It's 30% of phones and accessories, no activation fee, free shipping, 30 day risk free, and 9% off of the plan itself, and you get free mobile to mobile with a 1 year instead of having to have a 2 year plan to get it... this is all with AT+T btw, if I didn't mention already.

if i don't have 6 months of t-mob to go i'd take advantage of this. any rebates?

BTW, I ended up getting the 6820, they had them on the website as refurb for $50 refurb with a $50 credit for signing up for a $30 or more plan, so free! It's really an awesome little phone! Mine I believe was brand new, but somehow there was water damage on the box so they couldn't sell it as new. Actually the sim card also got a little damp, so the metal part stuck to something paper, but with an eraser I was able to remedy that. The phone itself looked PERFECT. Couldn't tell it wasn't new.

Among the cool things, you can take a picture and assign it to someone so when they call you can see your picture. That's just one of the neat things that I'd never even heard of before.

And the headset it comes with isn't bluetooth as I expected, but it still is nice. I wouldn't spend all the money for bluetooth, especially since it eats up the batteries so fast!
