"TracFone has created a national footprint covering 99% of the U.S. population by piecing together the best networks around the country. The networks are provided by major companies including Verizon Wireless, Cingular Wireless and ALLTEL. This gives you service everywhere cellular service is available.

You can use your TracFone across the U.S. and if you move, you can relocate your wireless number with just a phone call. "

*scratches head* UHHH... okay, these guys are looking more and more bogus now... ALLTEL and Verizon are nationwide CDMA. Cingular is nationwide GSM -- AKA, not compatible! I didn't know any company made a cell phone that had GSM and CDMA support on it. :/ Anyone actually use this carrier and can testify to their quality? Also your location? :p

Don't know about the others but Cingular uses TDMA and GSM. I have a 5165 with them which fits in with the "5100 series" as stated above.
