Nokia 5100 and 6100

Not sure if this is the right place to post about cell phones but here goes. Is the hardware in the Nokia 5100 the same as the 6100? From what I know, to make a 5100 into a 6100 you need to take it to a shop and have it flashed. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks for any help you can provide.

no, I highly doubt it, 61xx series has a lot more features...
they physically look alike, but I doubt (not absolutely sure) they are compatible.

6100 has more button. i think one more button. and they are in different spots
