NOKIA 445PRO - Anyone know how to open this monitor

This is a 21-inch Nokia 445PRO CRT color monitor. Its absolutely awesome but needs the brightness reduced ... even with 0% brightness its fairly bright ... so perhaps if I can get to the trim pots behind the monitor.

I looked around the plastic casing but could not find any screws that held the casing in place ... I know its wierd because something has to hold it together ... but I am lost

wow do not try to open ur crt monitor there is enough power in there to kill you instanly dont even try.

Why don't you lower the brightness in the display properties? Much easier and safer.

thats true, the display driver can modify the brightness through software

No ... the Nokia has a metal cage inside ... the components are inside it ... typically these monitors have trim pots that are accessible without opening the metal cage (cage is for reducing EMF) .. however the outside plastic casing needs to be removed.
