I have a Nokia 445Pro 21" trinitron monitor running on a 9800NP. I've started to notice a few goofy things from it. 1) The sides are squished (items have less width towards the edge of the screen than they do in the center). This is the case on the left and right side. I've goofed around with the geometry settings, and have been unable to cure it. 2) If I look at black on white text, I'm starting to notice a ton of twinkling in the letters. 3) Ocassionaly, the monitor will change geometry (get wider) on it's own. Sometimes, it stays wider, sometimes it bounces back and forth. Doesn't happen all the time, but it is annoying as hell when it does...
this stuff a sign of anything other than a dying tube?
