Updated with new question:

I'm taking my Nokia 3390 apart piece by piece. So far, i have removed the back cover, the battery, the SIM card and the faceplate. What i'm staring at is on this picture. Now, i need to remove the LCD. According to this guide, i "must insert a tiny, flat head screw driver and pull the white away from the LCD area and push the LCD up". I think have a screwdriver like that, but what about the screws themselves? They apparently hold the LCD board and the mainboard together, yet the guide says nothing about removing them, and shows the two board separated on the next picture.

Done. For anyone reading this in the future, the trick is to give it a little nudge from the right side of the phone, underneath the little rubber thingy on the side.

it's attached to the board by a ribbon cable. I'm not sure if you're going to be able to take that cable out without physically tearing it out of the board and re-soldering it to a new one.

exactly where do you think the LCD gets the info from? A wireless setup? If my friend (see your other post for story) remembers correctly, there's a very short ribbon cable with very little play/slack.

Alright, i just watched another guide, a video guide, and in it, he just unscrewed the 6 screws and took the thing right off. Can you ask your friend where he bought the screwdriver to unscrew these? I have a set of 3-mini drivers, but none fits. This is a snowflake-shaped one, with 6 corners.
